In our latest blog, we would like to welcome our youngest new member of the Creative Pod team, James - who has joined as a Marketing Executive. We sat down with him to find out a little more about his journey so far working with us!

How are you finding working as part of The Creative Group so far?

It has been great fun. The team here has made me feel very welcome and engaged with the current and future projects the company has planned.

What’s your background?

My background consists of playing tennis from the age of seven to currently at 22. I have represented Sussex tennis in every age group to adults. I have played, county, national and international tournaments for over 15 years. I was offered an incredible opportunity to fulfil a tennis scholarship in the states to join an American University. I completed my first year in San Francisco and then transferred to Colorado for my last three years of obtaining my degree and tennis scholarship. Throughout my 4 years in the states, I was fortunate enough to travel the country extensively through competing and representing my university. I graduated this year in May from, Colorado StateUniversity-Pueblo, with a degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Electronic Media Marketing.

Tell us something random about you?

I am a big foodie! When I have time, I have a big passion for cooking and following YouTube content food-related.

When I lived inSan Francisco, my tennis team played San Quentin State Prison, at the prison. Our match was played during the inmate’s short break for activity and we played in the court yard in the prison, surrounded by over 300 inmates. Was an experience to remember!

Who are your biggest influences?

Without no doubt, my family. My Mum, Dad and Brother, have been a huge influence in supporting me to where I am today in life. They are all great role models.
