As a marketing agency, we wanted to learn more about this hugely successful platform and keep up with trends and viral sounds. Creating our TikTok account allowed us to share our expertise with our clients and gain more brand awareness as an agency, validating our knowledge in this sector.
Solutions and consequences
Each week we have a team meeting to discuss trending sounds, memes, transitions, edits etc. We then transfer this into marketing agency-relevant content, thinking about what our audience would enjoy and relate to. We ensure the content is filmed in a TikTok-friendly way, and all captions and edits will give us the best chance for high engagement. After months of learning the platform and seeing what performs well, we post at optimal times and use highly engaging hashtags and sounds.
Our best-performing post received over 730k views, 30k likes, and 120 comments. This was a trend we reacted to quickly to ensure we were at the front of this sound making its way through TikTok. We were even dueted by another TikTok account; this gained over 1.5k views. From this video, we got excellent brand awareness, multiple job applications and a massive boost to our account with new followers and engagement to other posts.
