It’s been exciting! It’s the first time I’ve changed jobs, so it was quite scary at first but the team has been incredibly welcoming! I’ve had a small glimpse into how things work, and I’m really excited to get more and more involved.
I studied marketing as part of my business studies A-Level in sixth form alongside IT and Sport, which gave me some flexibility in terms of career options post school.
After completing my A-Levels, I wasn’t too keen on university. For that reason, I jumped straight into a Digital Marketing Apprenticeship. I worked at an IT Managed Service Provider as part of my apprenticeship, doing their marketing as part of the commercial team. I was fortunate enough to get experience in the retail, B2B and B2E sectors.
When I finished my apprenticeship, I was able to stay on as the Digital Marketing Executive and I eventually got more involved on the commercial side of things. However, I decided I wanted to work in a more dedicated Marketing role and team which led me to Creative Pod!
At some point, I owned around 40 pairs of trainers. I don’t know how my parents didn't kick me out!
My parents have been an influence to me for as long as I can remember. Coming to the UK, they’ve been extremely hard working and have sacrificed a lot for me. Their attitude and mentality towards things is inspiring. Besides them, I have the best girlfriend who is my number one supporter. She motivates me every day to be the best version of myself! (I’m currently held to gunpoint as I type this…)
