Bell Tent Sussex is dedicated to providing its customers with an excellent glamping experience. They strive to be the best at what they do, and that means giving top-of-the-line tents at reasonable prices. 

Situation

Email marketing is one of the most effective ways to reach and connect with Bell Tent Sussex's target audience in a personal way while also increasing sales at an affordable cost.

We had previously run a social competition alongside a landing page where we got entrants to fill in their email and tick if they were happy to receive email marketing, so we had a bank of interested customers ready to target. 

Solutions and consequences

As such, we ran three email marketing campaigns each month targeting past customers, entrants from social competitions, and interested customers who signed up for the email marketing from a pop-up on the website.

They had regular new stock, a monthly blog and a topical subject on which we based the emails each month. We always included creative subject lines such as "Boo! You've been spooked by a store wide discount code" to engage and capture the audience. We always included CTA's throughout the content, tracked high-performing subject lines, and re-sent emails with new subject lines to non-opens to receive the best possible outcome. 

The result:

8,455 total opens

527 total clicks

20 total sales

3.80% conversion rate

Total revenue £6,624.38
